About The Position

Angott Search Group has partnered with a leading global supplier of powertrain components to recruit an Aftermarket Sales Manager responsible for driving North American aftermarket growth. This role leads sales strategy execution, manages key distributor relationships, develops new business, and inspires cross-functional and multinational teams to achieve revenue and market expansion goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and MBA in Business or Engineering
  • 8+ years of success in the automotive aftermarket
  • Proven experience working with major aftermarket distributors
  • Strong forecasting, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Microsoft Teams
  • Experience in marketing and project management
  • Ability to lead across cultures; Spanish is a plus

  • Background with electrical products (starters, alternators) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute North American aftermarket sales strategy
  • Prospect and secure new major aftermarket distributor relationships
  • Grow existing accounts and expand product penetration
  • Prepare accurate forecasts, sales plans, and performance reports
  • Own customer-level and product-level multi-year sales planning
  • Lead customer presentations and represent the company in the market
  • Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams
  • Manage and develop a diverse, international sales team
  • Ensure customer alignment with commercial and payment terms
