About The Position

The Controls and Avionics (CAS) Aftermarket is seeking to add a Production Controller to the team. The CAS Aftermarket team is responsible for maintaining, repairing, modifying, and overhauling customer owned flight control systems. Our experienced staff tackles unique problems that come back from the field and ensures that the customer gets quality returns in a timely manner. We do this through a collaborative and cross functional approach in order to provide overall customer satisfaction. Within the Aftermarket team, the production controller is responsible for the cost, quality, and schedule for each of the units assigned to them while they are in for repair. Once released to the assembly area, the production controller interfaces cross functionally with our support and assembly staff to ensure we are appropriately investigating and repairing the asset. This requires the production controller to be able to read drawings, interpret specifications, assign work instructions, document the work performed, and tackle unique problems along the way. Applicants must have good communication skills to provide updates to the team through email, in person, and by leading team meetings on a regular cadence. Operating in a fast paced environment, there is a mix of computer work as well as direct work within the assembly floor.
