About This Role: HVAC Global Operations (Commercial and Residential) North America is seeking a skilled and experienced Aftermarket Planner - Data Centers to join our HVAC Aftermarket Planning team. The Aftermarket Planner - Data Centers is responsible for both material planning and procurement activities, and to ensure the seamless flow of materials to meet customer demand. The Aftermarket Planner - Data Centers must have a strong background in supply chain management, sound negotiation/communication skills, and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree
  • 7 + years of experience in material planning and purchasing

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in supply chain management
  • Certification in APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management) or similar
  • Proficiency in material planning software and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JDE
  • Experience in material planning and purchasing in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Experience with international sourcing and procurement
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • English communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the PO placement process; support the buying/sourcing team to ensure parts/accessories are quoted/sourced in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with suppliers to confirm timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues
  • Develop and implement material planning strategies to guarantee timely availability of materials for customer demand
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to optimize stock and reduce excess inventory
  • Analyze material usage trends and forecast future material requirements
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance material planning and purchasing efficiency
  • Prepare and present regular reports on material status, inventory levels, purchasing activities, and supply chain performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all purchasing activities
