About The Position

As an Aftermarket Manufacturing Engineer, you'll work closely with team members to eliminate process waste and ensure compliance in product repairs to successfully meet customer required Turn-around-times. Your daily focus will include: Reviewing customer and product repair requirements Proposing repair options to customers Ensuring compliance with customer purchase orders Dispositioning hardware to bring product back to compliance, airworthiness, and/or to perform upgrades accordingly. Monitoring and improving process efficiency using Lean Manufacturing principles Analyzing and resolving quality defects and process inefficiencies If you're a motivated problem solver who enjoys a new challenge every day, this job is for you. Requirements

  • Associates Engineering Degree
  • Must enter FAA mandated Anti-Drug Pool and be subject to random drug testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, utilizing root cause analysis.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and organize multiple activities in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related manufacturing engineering discipline.
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience and/or certification.
  • Skills and experience utilizing Oracle, Windchill or Data Analysis software
  • General understanding of electronics manufacturing processes
  • Exposure to Industry 4.0 concepts
  • Ability to interpret and apply specifications, standards, and customer requirements
  • Proficiency with MS Office Products
  • Familiarity with automated and/or advanced manufacturing processes is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Strong technical documentation and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to dig down to root cause and implement creative systemic corrective actions
  • Support for manufacturing floor activities, such as building standardized work instructions and leading Kaizen events and process walks
