About The Position

The Aftermarket Major Accounts Manager is responsible for managing large and strategic customer accounts, ensuring strong relationships, high retention, and profitable growth. The role coordinates service, sales, and support resources to deliver consistent fleet management, aftermarket solutions, and ongoing value to major accounts while identifying new business opportunities and improving overall financial performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of B2B account management experience, preferably with large or strategic accounts
  • Experience coordinating with internal teams to support customer needs.
  • Proven ability to manage profitability, margins, and financial performance within accounts.
  • Experience delivering customer reporting, business reviews, or performance summaries.
  • CRM or account management system experience (e.g., CCM or similar).
  • Experience in material handling, industrial equipment, or fleet management
  • Background managing multi‑location or national accounts

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with service agreements, aftermarket products, and maintenance program sales is a bonus
  • Experience developing annual account plans or account manuals preferred

Responsibilities

  • Generate and provide useful Fleet management reporting to the customer and assist with equipment replacement recommendations.
  • Coordinate efforts of Service Technicians, Sales Representatives and support functions to achieve customer’s Account Management goals and expectations.
  • Responsible for the sales growth and profit performance of the account.
  • Submit an annual business plan to specifically identify the operational and marketing objectives for assigned accounts by quarter.
  • Create and implement an account manual for each assigned account > 40 pieces of equipment documenting procedures, contacts, equipment specs, etc.
  • Submit quarterly performance overviews to their manager to review completion of plan objectives and provide accountability.
  • Provide ongoing information to ensure the integrity and utilization of CCM as the account/territory management interface.
  • Responsible to aid in the facilitation of CFPM management to include the identification of costly trucks and repairs.
  • CCM role is to manage these accounts no different than a Department manager or Supervisor
  • Responsible to develop new business in Large assigned Conquest and Strategic accounts.
  • Support and sell aftermarket products and services for all divisions aftermarket including battery division, millwright division, allied division, service, parts, rentals, where applicable as it relates to account status nationally
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • Additional duties as assigned
