About The Position

Love working with people, building meaningful relationships, and supporting others through important moments? The Aftercare Coordinator plays a vital role in LifeShare’s mission by providing compassionate aftercare support to donor families, while also managing essential administrative and coordination work behind the scenes. This role is ideal for someone who is empathetic, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing emotional connection with structured administrative tasks in a mission-focused environment. Important note: This is a part-time role (20 hours/week) and is not expected to transition into a full-time position.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with a focus on human relationships, grief support, or related field and/or equivalent work experience preferred
Strong ability to work empathetically and professionally with families during difficult moments
Proven integrity and commitment to confidentiality
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organized, task-oriented, and detail-driven
Comfortable working independently in an administrative setting
Proficiency with computer systems and software (Windows, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate aftercare support to donor families in a caring, professional manner
Extend condolences and respond empathetically to family inquiries
Share appropriate aftercare materials, resources, and support group information
Manage donor family and recipient correspondence (letters, cards, materials)
Print, prepare, and mail aftercare materials and communications
Track communications and maintain accurate, confidential records
Ensure timely follow-up and coordination related to aftercare services
Work independently while collaborating with internal teams as needed
