Functional areas of responsibility include operating unit simulators and providing JTAC instruction in IQT, MQT, CT, and upgrade training to JTAC instructors and evaluators, mission duties for range operations, and general assistance to unit JTAC Program Managers (JTAC PMs) and JTAC Evaluator Program Managers (JTAC E-PMs) with JTAC operations. Complete Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M certification training or obtain their IAT Level certification within 6 months of completing baseline certification and assumption of duties. Accomplish minor software updates, load databases, create scenarios, accomplish line replaceable unit removal and replacement, and run scripted software or queries and other support as directed by the Help Desk. The contractor shall be capable of fully operating all aspects of the currently fielded simulator (Joint Terminal Control-Training Rehearsal System (JTC-TRS), DT-100, HAVIC) and any newly fielded accredited JTAC simulators. Implement STG/STS-provided simulator scenarios, as well as develop and maintain the squadron’s CAS simulator scenarios in accordance with JFS ESC AP MOA 2004-01, USSOCOM M3505, AFSOC I 13-50, Wing, Group, and unit guidance. Report simulator status and issues on the monthly status report (MSR). Perform basic troubleshooting measures when simulator systems malfunction. Document and report issues to simulator service company and government leadership (CO/COR) within 72 hours of discovery. Report simulator status and issues on the monthly status reports (MSR). Provide JTAC, JTAC-Instructor, and JTAC-Evaluator duties. Participate in LVC, DMO training and exercises as required by the supported unit.
