IMPORTANT INFORMATION Working Condition: Hybrid> This position may be primarily remote with some requirements for in-person work. This is a permanent, full-time management service position. This position requires both a resume and a cover letter, the cover letter will need to address the desired attributes listed in this job posting. The person in this position will provide the programmatic and system assessment and evaluation of the Affordable Rental Housing Division functions (multi-family finance, asset management and compliance) and its strategic operational effectiveness. Formulates changes to policy and programs by effectively recommending management on the condition in which the programs should operate from a divisional perspective and in alignment with the vision and mission of the agency. In addition, this position will be the project manager on the implementation of approved policy recommendations and strategies.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and five years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
  • Any combination of experience and education equivalent to eight years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in affordable housing development, particularly housing finance.
  • Expert communicator both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience facilitating conversations and building relationships around highly technical issues without being a subject matter expert.
  • Experience in developing strategies and frameworks to implement new or to modify existing policy.
  • Demonstrated history of working with governing bodies to design and/or implement programs or policy.
  • Experience in analyzing policy outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement and to recommend changes.
  • Project Management experience
  • Demonstrated awareness of race and social justice, including the ability to positively influence equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
