Elmington Living specializes in managing multi-family communities through outstanding on-site management and maintenance teams. POSITION SUMMARY: As the Affordable Assistant Community Director, you will support the overall day-to-day activities of the apartment community by performing basic bookkeeping and rent collection, maintaining strong tenant relations, and inspecting and showing vacant units.

Minimum 2 years of multi-family property management experience required.
Must have affordable/tax credit experience.
Must be willing to work weekends.

Responsibilities

Assist Community Director in meeting targeted revenue goals by exceeding occupancy budgets, improving resident retention, and monitoring the property's financial performance.
Maintain accurate resident records.
Update daily all rents, deposits, and application fees received.
Issue appropriate notice when necessary (e.g., late payments, eviction notices, returned check memos).
Deposit all receipts before the bank closes each day.
Inspect move-outs and vacancies.
Be knowledgeable of all phases of leasing and resident retention.
Keep daily records on lease renewals and terminations.
Greet prospective clients, show community, and aid in leasing duties.
Performs all other duties as assigned
