About The Position

Join our community and experience Emerson College! The Performing Arts Department of Emerson College is seeking an affiliated faculty member with expertise in Jazz Dance to teach a Fall 2026 Intermediate/Advanced Jazz Dance course. Building on students’ foundational knowledge of jazz dance fundamentals, this course expands the complexity, musicality, and range of students’ jazz dancing. Students work to develop control, strength, and speed, with an emphasis on movement isolation and clarity of jazz styles. This course serves Dance Minors, Musical Theatre majors, and other qualified students. Students must pass an audition to register. Course Title: Intermediate/Advanced Jazz (DA337) Course Time and Date : Mondays and Wednesdays 4-5:45 pm September 2 - December 17, 2026 Location: Boston Campus, 120 Boylston St., Boston Course Modality: In-person Compensation: $5,768 Emerson College believes the pathway to achieving inclusive excellence is fostering a campus climate where everyone can thrive.
