About The Position

Obtain cryo-ET 3d images of chromatin structures. This includes preparing samples, recording tilt-series, calculating 3d reconstructions, producing sub-tomogram averages, building integrative atomic models, and writing papers and grants. Requirements

Ph.D. in microbiology, cell biology, or structural biology
Experience with cell culture and molecular biology.
Deep knowledge of and experience with cryo-ET theory and practice including cryo-FIB milling.
Strong work ethic.
Good reasoning, social, writing, and verbal skills.
This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
