About The Position

Westaff Now Hiring Aerospace Manufacturing workers in Portland, CT!
This includes availabilities for both finishers and polishers or grinder machine operators
Shifts & Pay:
1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
2nd Shift: 4:30 PM – 12:30 AM (Monday–Friday)
Pay Rate: $18–$26 per hour, based on experience and position
Finishers / Polishers Requirements :
Polish, sand, deburr, and finish metal components
Ensure high-quality surface appearance
Operate hand and power finishing tools
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Grinder Machine Operators Requirements:
Set up and operate precision grinding machines
Read blueprints and follow technical instructions
Conduct measurements and in-process quality checks
Maintain machines and follow shop safety procedures
Requirements for Grinder Machine Operators and Finisher/ Polishers:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the company
