About The Position
Westaff Now Hiring Aerospace Manufacturing workers in Portland, CT! This includes availabilities for both finishers and polishers or grinder machine operators Shifts & Pay: 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday–Friday) 2nd Shift: 4:30 PM – 12:30 AM (Monday–Friday) Pay Rate: $18–$26 per hour , based on experience and position
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the company

Responsibilities
- Polish, sand, deburr, and finish metal components
- Ensure high-quality surface appearance
- Operate hand and power finishing tools
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Set up and operate precision grinding machines
- Read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Conduct measurements and in-process quality checks
- Maintain machines and follow shop safety procedures
