With our ongoing growth, we are looking to have an Aerospace Production Team Member join our team. Aerospace Fabricator/Machine Operator Job Description: Set up and operate machine tools such as stamping presses, drill presses, milling machines and grinders to produce parts to specified dimensions and finishes Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear Perform secondary operations, such as deburring, surface finishing, cleaning, and qualifying of metal parts Verify dimensions, alignments and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers Assist in troubleshooting tooling and/or machine production issues

Requirements

  • Ability to set up and operate machine tools to produce parts that are within customer specifications
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and customer specifications to ensure conforming parts
  • Individuals must have an advanced understanding of fabrication and tooling principles, along with relevant hands-on experience
  • High school or equivalent education
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Be very detail oriented
  • Have excellent attendance
  • Being a self-starter with good work habits and the desire to learn
