Responsibilities As a Senior DTE&A Engineer/Analyst (Missile Systems) you will: Conduct analysis of emerging DoD and MDA missile system programs using modern digital engineering tools and reviewing historical performance of related programs, technologies, and activities. Understand acquisition plans and technology issues inherent in emerging missile programs and related-systems; conduct outreach to key experts within the program and the test community to enhance undertaanding of capabilities under development. Evaluate the acquisition and technology risks of missile-systems programs and supporting development; secure cutting-edge technology and engineering capabilities to facilitate modernization efforts across DoD. Analyze and evaluate acquisitions programs to support timely delivery of key warfighting capabilities to DoD. Integrate analysis of digital engineering artifacts into the assessments. Provide Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E) and Systems Engineering support to the government on advanced missile systems and related technology. Extreme focus on hypervelocity capability. Provide assessments and risk evaluations to OUSD(R&E), Milestone Decision Authorities, Services, Agencies, and PEOs. Identify and analyze key digital engineering artifacts from systems like CAMEO, AFSIM, and others which will contribute to DTE&A's assessment and analysis process. Review and assess Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), developmental test plans, System Engineering Plans (SEPs), Lifecycle Sustainment Plan (LCSPs), Acquisition Decision Memoranda (ADMs), Acquisition Baselines and Strategies, and other milestone decision documents. Evaluate test results, schedules, resources, and technological risks for program reviews. Provide working-level integrated product teams (WIPTs) Test and Evaluation and systems engineering support. Support Independent Technical Risk Assessments (ITRA). Travel as required to collaborate with stakeholders and programs. Develop papers, reports, and briefings targeted to senior OSD decision makers. Assess and provide recommendations on DT&E policy.
