Requirements

Bachelor’s or above Degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering
Experience leading design teams
Experience in airframe structure design and analysis
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Nice To Haves

Experience in CATIA V5 and/or 3DX
Experience with metallic and composite design
Experience with GD&T
Experience with hand stress analysis
Experience releasing drawings
MRB experience with aircraft structural repairs

Responsibilities

Lead integration and design synthesis across aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, thermodynamics, electronics, controls, and actuation.
Conduct multidisciplinary system trade studies to optimize performance and cost.
Coordinate with fabrication, assembly, MRB, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth production operations.
Generate and present technical and administrative materials for customers and internal stakeholders.
Mentor early‑career engineers and champion One LM culture across cross‑functional teams.
