About The Position

You will be the Software Engineer, Simulation Sr. Stf for the Simulation & Systems Labs (SSL) which is responsible for... What You Will Be Doing As the Software Engineer, Simulation Sr. Stf you will be responsible for integration and troubleshooting of SSS software products in hardware‑in‑the‑loop and man‑in‑the‑loop lab environments. Our team designs, develops, integrates, simulates, analyzes, deploys, and flight tests leading‑edge systems that enable warfighters to dominate globally. Your responsibilities will include: Develop and integrate software for distributed, real‑time simulation systems. Perform integration and testing of SSS software in HIL and MIL environments. Apply simulation software engineering principles and reuse existing code bases. Support digital transformation initiatives through advanced software practices. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using Agile DevSecOps processes. Requirements

Experience with simulation software development & integration
Software Development Experience using C++
Experience developing software on Linux Operating Systems.
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering/Technical Field (STEM)
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

Experience leading software development teams.
Experience with F35 Simulation products to include VSim, JADE, and LIDS
Experience with Real-time simulation software development & integration
Experience developing software on Linux and Real-Time Operating Systems.
Experience with Object-Oriented Analysis (OOA)/Object-Oriented Design (OOD) techniques.
Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools, such as VersionOne and Jira
Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and tools, such as Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket
Experience with automated testing
An extreme interest in anything airborne, such as fighter aircraft and airplanes.
