Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a full-time Early Career Aeronautical Engineer for the Landing Gear Engineering team, specifically for IFG landing gear supporting F-22 and F-16. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of CATIA, Solidworks, or equivalent CAD software and possess the ability to develop clear technical presentations for customers and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical engineering or related technical major
  • Experience with CATIA, Solidworks, or equivalent CAD
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain a government security clearance
  • Ability to work at a facility that requires special access

Responsibilities

  • Support closure of important and outstanding issues such as: F-22 side brace redesign, F-22 red gear, F-16 brake controller development, and F-16 downlock actuator development
  • Support engaging groups internal to Lockheed (e.g. SCM, DaDT, Chief Engineers, & Program Managers) and external (e.g. SPO & Collins Aerospace)
  • Develop clear technical presentations for customers and suppliers
