About The Position

The Aeroderivatives Services Lead ITR Engineer executes complex projects and develops bid strategy, equipment offerings, and technical proposals for conversion, modification, and upgrades (CM&U) to GE Vernova’s aeroderivative installed fleet. While strong focus is on project engineering management (PEM), this role spans the end-to-end ITR process (ITO + OTR), partnering with Sales, Commercial, Product Management, Sourcing, Project Management, customers, and suppliers. Travel to customer meetings, site surveys, and conferences may be required.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of engineering experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university
  • Experience with mechanical and/or electrical systems for aeroderivative gas turbine packaging
  • Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

  • As project engineering manager, oversee technical execution of complex Aero CM&U projects from handover to end of GE Vernova contractual obligations.
  • Develop and monitor project engineering schedule and budget, and support PM with integrating customer/partner and GE Vernova engineering deliverables into overall project schedule while managing report outs on project status.
  • Develop and manage project technical strategy to mitigate risk.
  • Provide technical support for installation, start-up and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure feedback for continuous improvement using the Lessons Learned process.
  • Create clear, accurate technical proposals for aeroderivative CM&Us, ensuring fit with unit configuration, customer needs, GE Vernova design standards, and quoting limits.
  • Partner with Sales to identify opportunities, engage customers, and respond to technical inquiries.
  • Present and defend proposal content internally and with customers; own quality and on-time delivery of all assigned proposals.
  • Track industry, technology, and regulatory trends to shape new offerings; present at user conferences and technical reviews.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on new technologies, systems, and components.
  • Support site surveys and develop practical sales tools (standards, handbooks, one-pagers) to improve responsiveness.
  • Lead technical execution for electrical scope on CM&U projects, managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, product cost, and reliability.
  • Produce design packages (models, assemblies, drawings, analyses, layouts, BOMs) and required technical documentation.
  • Communicate design recommendations to internal stakeholders and customers; present them in internal and customer reviews.
  • Provide technical and project leadership to peers; work multiple projects concurrently while meeting quality and customer schedule.
  • Adhere to GE Vernova policies and procedures, engineering standards, customer specifications, and applicable government/commercial standards.
  • Leverage lessons learned, customer, and team feedback to continuously improve standards, processes, and tools.
  • Support a cross-functional program to develop, standardize, publish, and maintain CM&U handbooks and standard technical write-ups for upgrades.
