About The Position

The Aero Repairs and Exchanges Project Manager is responsible for Aero shop repairs, module exchanges, and exchange/spare engines. The primary responsibilities are on time project delivery and profitability. This role directly interacts with Regional Sales and the Aero Alliance. Process ownership is from handoff from the Aero Regional team to the delivery and billing of the customer engine or exchange/spare. This role will concurrently manage several repairs and exchanges and manage key strategic customers and lead critical process change across the Aero business. Lastly, this role will interact with the Aero Business Line leadership including Finance, Sales, Productivity, and Quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University, preferably in a technical or business degree and a minimum of 5 years experience with Aeroderivative repairs and exchanges or equivalent.
  • Associate's degree from an accredited College or University, preferably in a technical or business degree and a minimum of 10 years experience with Aeroderivative repairs and exchanges or equivalent.
  • Ability and willingness to travel (~10%)

Responsibilities

  • Own key strategic customers during shop repair visits
  • Develop and lead business changes
  • Mentor other team members
  • Ensuring at Handoff from Regional Sales a clear understanding of as sold scope, budget, shipping and billing requirements
  • Leading all interactions and decisions with the Aero Alliance
  • Risk Identification and Mitigation to schedule and budget
  • Manage Shipping process
  • Ensure costing validation and inputs to the billing process
