Position Overview Woolpert is hiring an Aerial Acquisition Flight Planning Specialist to join our dynamic Aerial Acquisition team. This position is responsible for flight planning for aerial data acquisition missions. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.

Requirements

• Experience/knowledge of aerial data acquisition principles, lidar and/or imagery.
• Esri ArcGIS, Google Maps, GlobalMapper, Bentley Microstation.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Leica sensors (TerrainMapper, DMC4) is favored.
• Experience with Leica MissionPro is favored.

Responsibilities

• Flight planning for all aerial data acquisition missions (lidar and imagery)
• Mission estimation
• Sensor and aircraft hours accounting
• Project status updates
• Assisting with GPS/IMU and lidar QC processing as needed.
