Aegis TRASUP and BFTT Operations Trainer
About The Position
We are seeking a talented and experienced Training Supervisor (TRASUP) and Battle Force Tactical Trainer (BFTT) Instructor to support the Aegis International Programs team and conduct waterfront and schoolhouse training. This individual will support a multi-instructor and developer workforce providing instruction and curricula updates for our International Program customers and in support of schoolhouse and shipboard training. Assist in the development of new training materials, revise existing curricula, and support simulation virtual courseware updates and deployment. Deliver formal training for internal and external customers, conduct instructor evaluations, and submit training reports. Approximately 25% of the work for this position will be as part of a training team with travel opportunities available to support our international customers in locations such as Japan, Australia, Norway, and South Korea. Some training will also be provided at the Aegis Training and Readiness Center (ATRC) in Dahlgren, VA and there are also opportunities when work can be completed in a telework environment. Qualified candidate must have a final DoD Secret Security clearance to be considered. US Citizenship is required
Requirements
- Certified as Navy Instructor with applicable Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC) code, previous instructor experience with documented certification, or Bachelor's Degree in education.
- Ability to discuss operational concepts related to Aegis Weapon System and Aegis Combat System
- Proven communication skills with the ability to work independently and as a team contributor.
- Qualified candidate must have a final DoD Secret Security clearance to be considered.
- US Citizenship is required.

- Relevant USN Aegis Baseline 9 operational experience
- Tactical Air Control experience
