About The Position

About Our Spring Co-Op Opportunity The Savant Intern position is a temporary position that exists to provide a student with a general department overview and supervised practical training. General duties will be assigned that will allow the student to develop entry level skills required in a professional workplace. The duties and responsibilities of the position will vary and will be dependent upon the department where the intern is assigned to work. Savant offers a variety of internship opportunities in the following areas: wealth advisory, financial planning, retirement plan services, tax preparation, marketing, investment research, trading and operations, and compliance. During this internship, you may gain exposure in the following areas, subject to availability and scheduling constraints: Support advisors in preparing client presentations and planning analyses Assist with investment research and market monitoring Help create marketing content and communications Participate in team meetings and client strategy sessions Gain exposure to our compliance framework and operational processes Contribute ideas to projects that support our vision of building ideal future This is an ideal internship for students pursuing a CFP designation who want to experience how their studies come to life in a collaborative, client-focused environment. A couple things to note about our Internship: This position is based at our Wyomissing, PA Office. Due to the nature of the work, this role will require you to work in person, so you will need to have reliable transportation. This is a seasonal role, beginning in January ending in May. 20 - 30 hours are expected, working Monday-Friday, 9:00AM - 5:00PM. Compensation: This is a paid internship opportunity. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $18.00 – $22.00 per hour, depending on experience and department placement.

Requirements

To be considered for our internship programs you must have your high school diploma and be currently enrolled in college program, preferably pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, financial planning, business or economics related field.
All applicants must be within driving distance to our Wyomissing, PA office as this position requires in-person support. We are not open to relocation for this opportunity.

Students that are currently enrolled in a CFP track program and that are in their Junior year will be prioritized upon application review.
