TransUnion is seeking Advisors for Product Management in Chicago, IL. The role involves developing and launching innovative new IT products for the Diversified Markets business unit. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define product specifications, and execute product roadmaps. Responsibilities include managing the IT product development process from ideation to launch, tracking product metrics and analytics to measure product success, and collaborating with software engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and budget-compliant product development. The position also requires designing, leading, and shepherding strategic IT initiatives through product delivery while engaging cross-functional teams including engineering, legal and compliance, product marketing, and external partners.

  • Develop and launch innovative new IT products for the Diversified Markets business unit.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define product specifications.
  • Execute product roadmaps and manage the IT product development process from ideation to launch.
  • Track product metrics and analytics to measure the success of products.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure products are developed on time and on budget.
  • Design, lead, and shepherd strategic IT initiatives through product delivery.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 2 years of experience with Software Development required.
  • Required skills: Azure, SAFe, AWS, C, SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, XML, Shell Scripting, JAVA, Apache Kafka, Oracle, Vertica, Teradata, NoSQL, DVT, Rally, Jira, Visio, telecommunications domain knowledge.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of progressive experience with Software Development is acceptable.
