What Strategic Partnership Management contributes to Cardinal Health Global Sourcing is responsible for creating and managing diverse strategic supplier partnerships that drive enterprise value with innovation, best cost and competitive advantages that benefit customers, suppliers and patients. Develops and executes strategic plans by leveraging market intelligence, industry knowledge and cross-functional collaboration. Competitive advantage is created through supplier selection and management, contract negotiation, supply chain optimization and risk mitigation. Strategic Partnership Management is responsible for managing Cardinal Health's relationships with its strategic partners, which include Generic Pharmaceutical vendors such as Red Oak Sourcing. This enhanced relationship management translates into exceptional customer service, including maximizing the supply chain, negotiation of operational agreements and above the line revenue. Job Summary The Advisor of Strategic Partnership Management is responsible for planning, developing, communicating, implementation, and evaluating programs. These programs involve working with external entities and their corresponding resources and Cardinal Health’s internal budget, schedule and scope constraints while managing risk and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies. Location - Targeting individuals located within commutable distance of our corporate headquarters (Central Ohio), as this team works in office once a week (which specific day each week can fluctuate based upon supplier meetings).
