About The Position

Halliburton Consulting integrates geoscience, reservoir, and production expertise to help customers plan, optimize, and manage field development. Through data analysis, modeling, and technical advisory services, we deliver insights that drive efficiency, reduce risk, and maximize asset value. The Advisor I is a seasoned technical expert who operates with broad autonomy and serves as both a project leader and trusted consultant to clients. This role leads multidisciplinary consulting studies, mentors diverse technical teams, and drives high-impact deliverables across geomechanics, subsurface characterization, well design, and field development planning—or other relevant technical domains. The Advisor I contributes directly to project execution, strategic planning, and business growth by engaging with customers, shaping technical solutions, and ensuring best-in-class consulting practices. This individual plays a key role in sustaining technical excellence and supporting the successful delivery of high-value, strategic projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Geoscience, or related technical discipline.
  • Prior experience working with an E&P operator, major consultancy, or equivalent technical environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and deliver complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and present to senior client leadership.
  • Proven consulting acumen, project management capability, and customer engagement experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex consulting projects or supervise and mentor 5–10 technical professionals across varying levels of competence.
  • Apply deep technical expertise to deliver high-quality, fit-for-purpose solutions for client challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to best practice work processes, quality standards, and project and commercial management principles.
  • Recognize, develop, and leverage team strengths; actively support competency development and career progression.
  • Engage regularly with customers, presenting insights, recommendations, and strategic guidance.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including proposal development, technical scope definition, and client engagement.
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial control for assigned projects.
  • Support internal strategy development and the expansion of consulting service offerings.
  • Maintain and utilize a global network of technical and domain experts to enhance project outcomes.
  • Contribute simultaneously to 1–5 multidisciplinary consulting initiatives across the region.
  • Serve as a consulting role model in project leadership, client interaction, and business generation.
