About The Position

Merrill Wealth Management is a leading provider of comprehensive wealth management and investment products and services for individuals, companies, and institutions, specializing in goals-based wealth management. Merrill's Financial Advisors and Wealth Management Client Associates help clients pursue their financial goals through personal relationships, leveraging Merrill's investment insights and Bank of America's banking convenience. Merrill is committed to an in-office culture with specific attendance requirements, while also allowing for appropriate flexibility. The company values diversity and aims to create a culture-driven, resilient, results-focused, and effective work community. As a Financial Solutions Advisor within the centralized segment of the Advisor Development Program, your journey begins by obtaining Securities Industry licenses (Securities Industry Essentials [SIE], Series 7, and Series 66 Exams) through dedicated and personalized classes. Once licensed, you will be taught the foundational skills needed to be an advisor, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, understanding complex financial pictures, and guiding clients with advice and solutions to help them achieve their financial lives, all while humanizing financial interactions. You will then join the centralized team as a Financial Solutions Advisor. In this phone-based role, you will provide clients with holistic financial advice and guidance by identifying broader product and service solutions that meet their investment, savings, and liability management needs. You will demonstrate knowledge of investments and financial markets, apply key principles appropriate to individual client's investment needs, and align Merrill and Bank of America products and services where appropriate. The program provides the necessary training and guidance to progress into the Merrill Financial Advisor role, where you will work with affluent and high net worth clients, identify needs, develop relationships, review investment goals, and prepare investment recommendations. Upon demonstrating success as an FSA, you typically progress into the next stage of training and development as a Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA). The Academy supports this career path with dedicated programs, tools, and resources, offering world-class training, one-on-one coaching, opportunities to grow business knowledge, and a strong referral base. The company fosters a culture of responsible growth, community support, continuous training, diversity, and a client-first approach.
