About The Position

As an Advisor Business Analyst - Pharmacy at Gainwell, you will help drive Pharmacy technology solutions to improve health outcomes for the most vulnerable populations. Partner closely with the Product Owner to support Pharmacy product initiatives and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Ensure business priorities, technical debt, and customer needs are effectively planned and incorporated into decision‑making. Collaborate with Product Owners and cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for the Pharmacy product. Coordinate with module teams to identify and manage dependencies, track timelines, and ensure smooth execution of planned initiatives. Work with business partners and internal teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve challenges impacting product delivery. Maintain and refine the product backlog by writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and prioritizing high‑value features in partnership with the Product Owner. Work with architects, technical leads, and scrum teams to drive estimation, solution design, defect resolution, and release planning for client‑focused features and high‑quality software deployments. Work with training and support teams to develop documentation, user guides, and training materials that promote product adoption and best practices. Gather and analyze feedback from end users and Product Owners, translating insights into actionable product requirements. Operate within Agile frameworks, ensuring well‑structured requirements, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios in Microsoft ADO. Engage regularly with scrum teams to refine the backlog, guide sprint planning, and review product demonstrations. Ensure products are robust, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards and integration strategies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Senior Business Analyst, or similar role, preferably within PBM or healthcare space.
  • Hands‑on experience with PBM implementations, including POS claims adjudication and prior authorization.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicaid line of business (LOB).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ad refine product roadmaps, prioritize backlogs, and lead Agile development in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
