As an NBCUniversal Academic Year intern, you will work on real projects, be part of a collaborative culture, and receive support to grow across two full semesters. The Internship Program focuses on impact, allowing interns to contribute to meaningful work while building valuable skills. It provides an environment for learning and growth for curious, driven individuals excited about media, entertainment, and technology. The Advertising & Partnerships division is a multifaceted organization connecting NBCUniversal's content portfolio to advertisers, brand partners, and consumers. It comprises five core business areas: Ad Sales, Advertising Product & Solutions, Strategy, Enterprise Marketing & Communications, and Platform Monetization. These groups collectively aim to be the industry's most valuable partner for maximizing media effectiveness for clients. Areas of placement may include Business Operations & Services, which supports the full advertising lifecycle from campaign setup to billing, working with Sales, Planning, and Finance to ensure accurate invoicing, manage account details, and resolve issues, playing a critical role in smooth campaign operations and timely, accurate service across NBCU’s platforms.

Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (September 2026 through April 2027)
  • December 2026 graduates are not eligible for this Academic Year Internship Program
  • Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)
  • Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be available to work 16-24 hours per week from September 21, 2026 – April 23, 2027
  • Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA
  • Any candidate receiving an internship offer must complete I-9 form with Social Security number within 3 days of hire
