About The Position

Responsible for managing and supporting the execution of advertising, digital, and social campaigns.

Requirements

  • Two years’ experience in an advertising capacity handling print, broadcast, outdoor, internet and public relations required.
  • Must have excellent organizational, communication, customer service skills, multitasking, and flexibility with scheduling.
  • Must be able to work extended hours, nights, and weekends based on business need.
  • Must have above proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel and must be able to create signage on Apple software and others, print on large-scale printers and laminate/mount signage in-house.
  • Must be a team player and work with others.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing brand social media accounts across multiple platforms.
  • Ability to create engaging content tailored to designated audiences, with strong understanding of trends, analytics, and platform best practices.
  • Working knowledge of digital advertising platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and programmatic ad systems.
  • Understanding of SEO/SEM principles and how they support broader marketing goals
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and editing software, including Adobe Creative Cloud (photoshop, illustrator).
  • Ability to design digital and print assets such as banners, signage, email graphics, social media creatives and promotional materials.
  • Ability to analyze competitive information and internal financial information, and develop plans with measurable results.
  • Creative and innovative problem solving skills.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with peers and coordinate marketing activities with operating departments.
  • Ability to represent company at public functions and speak to large groups.
  • Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Maintain knowledge of current property events, promotions and attractions.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Canva video tools is a plus.
  • Experience maintaining brand standards and production visually consistent marketing materials.
  • Preference for hospitality or service industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and is responsible for all aspects of social media, photo and video shoots.
  • Maintains and supplements the video library at Harrah’s Gulf Coast.
  • Initiate and develop heavy focus on online reputation management.
  • Interfaces with corporate brand, corporate internet, property departments, agencies, media and marketing personnel in the planning, implementation and execution of all advertising/media related programming.
  • Negotiates with vendors to secure production needs and disseminate advertising information and advertising mediums needed for production and execution of all print, broadcast, and internet campaigns.
  • Responsible for the execution of advertising campaigns, direct mail, graphic design, website and social media information.
  • Responsible for forecasting and managing departmental budgets.
  • Provides necessary information to enable appropriate departments to evaluate the success of campaigns on the basis of media coverage generated, casino drop or other qualitative and quantitative measures.
  • Manages the opening of job requests and e nsures jobs are produced on strategy, on deadline and within budget.
  • Responsible for ensuring all signage is accurate, relevant and in good condition.
  • Monitors quality and ensures adequate supply of all advertising/collateral in designated locations.
  • Reviews invoices for accuracy.
  • Maintains cost records and samples of all projects.
  • Maintains and updates status reports on all projects in progress.
  • Maintains a creative file on all projects.
  • Performs other advertising and marketing-related duties as assigned.
  • Acts as a role model and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
