About The Position

Advanced Quantum Physicist The Opportunity: Are you excited at the prospect of unlocking the secrets held by quantum information science? Are you fascinated by the possibilities presented by quantum computing and sensing advances? We have an opportunity for you to use your analytical and experimental skills to improve quantum computing, communications, and sensing capabilities for the U.S. government. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide direct quantum support. Requirements

Experience leading and managing small to medium-sized projects
Knowledge of a wide range of quantum computing hardware, control electronics, and environmental control requirements
Ability to convey complex concepts to a varied audience both written and verbally
Ability to work collaboratively in a manner that leverages various backgrounds and expertise
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of experience performing research in quantum mechanics and the quantum effects that enable quantum computing, quantum sensing, or quantum networking, Master's degree and 6+ years of experience performing research in quantum mechanics and the quantum effects that enable quantum computing, quantum sensing, or quantum networking, or Doctorate degree and 4+ years of experience performing research in quantum mechanics and the quantum effects that enable quantum computing, quantum sensing, or quantum networking

15+ years of experience performing research in quantum mechanics and the quantum effects that enable quantum computing, quantum sensing, or quantum networking
Experience leading the development of te chn ology business plans and roadmaps, building and managing teams of scientists and engineers to execute against business plans, and managing asso cia ted resources, including hardware and funding
Possession of excellent technical writing and speaking skills
