Advanced Project Engineer
About The Position
As an Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective project coordination. You will report directly to our Sr. Program Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule. External hires will begin with 90 days on site before transitioning to a 3/2 hybrid schedule. In this role, you will impact the company's success by ensuring the successful execution and delivery of complex engineering projects, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support projects to resolve service revealed difficulties (SRD), support supply chain transitions and manufacturing quality issues
- Work with functional experts to identify root cause and corrective actions for complex and ambiguous technical challenges
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Develop technical change proposals for original equipment manufacturers (OEM) customers to resolve SRDs and other technical issues
- Proactively manage and mitigate project risks to maintain project performance
- Provide technical guidance and support to newer team members
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
