KBR is seeking an Advanced Program Support Technician to support our SPACE SUIT DESIGN TEAM for KBR’s Science and Space division. The Advanced Program Support Technician will be responsible for manufacturing, building, testing and maintenance of aerospace flight hardware including, but not limited to: (Extra Mobility Unit (EMU) Suits and Suit components primarily focusing on pressure integrity layers, EVA Tools and Crew Aids, Ancillary equipment, Advanced program and other contracts and subsystem equipment as required. Manufacturing equipment and processes include, but not limited to 3D printers, RF welders, fabric laser and wheel cutters, and dip mold preparation. Testing of hardware will include repair and maintenance, cleaning, inspection, Engineering Change (EC) incorporation, assembly, disassembly, and performance/functional testing. Repair and maintenance processes require the use of hazardous materials such as adhesives, lubricates, and solvents.
