About The Position

Molded Dimensions Group manufactures rubber and urethane mechanical components used in a variety of industries from heavy machines to small engines, marine, waste management, automotive, medical food processing, construction and mining. We are seeking an Advanced Press Operator with 3+ years of hands-on press experience to operate rubber molding presses. This role requires strong attention to detail, process awareness, and a solid understanding of rubber compounds, tooling, and quality requirements. The ideal candidate can work independently, troubleshoot basic issues, and consistently produce quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 1st shift hours: 5am - 1pm Monday-Friday

Requirements

  • 3+ years press operating experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to multi-task
  • High level attention to detail
  • Dependability
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Standing or walking 8-10 hours a day

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor 12”, 17” and/or 24” rubber molding presses according to work instructions, process sheets, and safety standards
  • Load and unload molds with rubber compounds and/or inserts and finished parts
  • Monitor cycle times, temperatures, pressures, and cure times
  • Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet quality and dimensional requirements
  • Work closely with leads, technicians, and quality personnel to meet production goals
  • Works with process sheets to perform production molding of components in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Maintains an adequate supply of raw materials for the machine
  • Position and secure inserts and load rubber into machine
  • Remove finished products from machines, using hand tools, air hoses and other equipment
  • Perform manual clipping, trimming, sorting and assembly tasks to parts produced to meet customer requirements
  • Perform quality inspections per company standards
  • Effectively communicate with management, engineers, maintenance and other operators any condition that is or will adversely affect the machine and equipment performance
  • Adheres to all safety standards and identifies and reports any unsafe conditions
  • Follow use of all required PPE
  • Perform all other duties as requested
