About The Position

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is a registered professional nurse who has specialized skills, knowledge, and experience in patient assessments and follow-up and is duly authorized to perform designated acts of medical diagnosis, prescription of medical therapeutics and corrective measures in collaboration with and under the supervision of a licensed physician.

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse licenses in the state
• BLS certification upon hire and maintained current
• Master’s in nursing required
• Eligible for Drug Enforcement Administration Registration

Nice To Haves

• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the specialty is preferred
• Doctorate of Nursing preferred
• Two or more years of clinical experience as a nursing practitioner at a physician practice or in a hospital with a related specialty is strongly preferred
