About The Position

HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC/BE Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Endocrinology team in Springfield, IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System. Practice Highlights: - Monday - Friday weekly schedule, 4 or 5 day schedule option - No holidays or weekends - Well established, growing practice - Dietician and Diabetic Educator on staff to address all patient needs - Dedicated support staff to assist with practice flow - EPIC EMR Position Requirements: - Unrestricted Illinois license and DEA prior to start - Board Certified - 2+ years of Endocrinology or Diabetic Care as an NP or PA is required Compensation & Benefits Package: - Base guarantee - Paid time off with holidays accrued bi-weekly - CME reimbursement + days available per fiscal year - Opportunities to earn productivity and patient outcome/patient satisfaction bonuses - Sign on bonus and relocation assistance both available Core Function: Provider Education

Requirements

Unrestricted Illinois license and DEA prior to start
Board Certified
2+ years of Endocrinology or Diabetic Care as an NP or PA is required
Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Nice To Haves

Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.
Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.
Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.
Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.
Federal DEA license is preferred.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
