About The Position

HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC/BE Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Gastroenterology team in our Southern Illinois Market. This provider will spend three days per week in Breese, IL, one day per week in Greenville, IL, and one day per week in Highland, IL. Requirements

• Unrestricted Illinois license and DEA prior to start
• Board Certified
• 2+ years of provider work experience is strongly preferred
• Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
• Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in GI is preferred, but experience in other specialties will also be considered.
• Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.
• Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.
• Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.
• Federal DEA license is preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
