Advanced Practice Provider, Vascular Services Casual / PRN position Position Purpose: The NP Specialty provides primary or acute healthcare services for specialty health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Minimum Requirements: Education: Masters required in Science, Nursing or Specialty field. Graduate of an Advanced Practitioner program. • Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio or Physician Assistant • Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in designated specialty required. American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) is preferred • BLS provider certification required • ACLS, NRP, EFM and PALs required for some departments (see Exhibit A) • Holds a DEA license for controlled substances or ability to obtain as required • All qualifications above are subject to grandfathering by the Ohio Board of Nursing. • Experience: Minimum of two years recent and relevant nursing experience preferred • Effective Communication Skills Ministry/Facility Information: Mount Carmel, a member of Trinity Health, has been a transforming healing presence in Central Ohio for over 135 years.
