Advanced Practice Provider, Vascular Services Casual / PRN position Position Purpose: The NP Specialty provides primary or acute healthcare services for specialty health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. This position will help cover day and weekend shifts, 10 hour shifts worked. They will work at Mount Carmel East, Grove City or St. Ann's. Minimum Requirements: Education: Masters required in Science, Nursing or Specialty field. Graduate of an Advanced Practitioner program. Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio or Physician Assistant Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in designated specialty required. American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) is preferred BLS provider certification required ACLS, NRP, EFM and PALs required for some departments (see Exhibit A) Holds a DEA license for controlled substances or ability to obtain as required All qualifications above are subject to grandfathering by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
