About The Position

Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery is recruiting for a motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to grow its team and practice. In the ambulatory space, the APP will practice independently to manage patients presenting with a broad range of ENT pathologies affecting the head and neck and also work collaboratively with attending surgeons to care for children with complex medical conditions and surgical needs. The APP will have the opportunity to learn and maintain proficiency for how to interpret diagnostic imaging and other studies and perform a range of procedures including binocular microscopy, foreign body removal, and cauterization. The APP will also contribute to organizational and departmental continuous performance and quality improvement projects, and participate in education and research efforts for patients, families, and the health care team. This unique opportunity will also include participation as part of our Vascular Anomalies program – approximately 50% of role. Our Vascular Anomalies program employs shared-decision making within a multidisciplinary team that includes Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, Dermatology, Hematology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Genetics, Cardiology, and Interventional Radiology. The APP will provide comprehensive care to patients with vascular tumors, vascular malformations, and syndromes associated with vascular anomalies from across the entire WWAMI region of Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho. The APP will also participate in our weekly care conference, contribute to continued program growth, and support ongoing Vascular Anomalies research. Prior experience in Vascular Anomalies is not required.
