Nationally certified Advanced Practice Provider who provides primary and/or specialty care in a variety of healthcare settings. Functions in collaboration with the health care team in accordance with certification and licensure. Practice emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health problems. Responsible for dissemination of knowledge through instructing, leading and developing educational programs. The regional OB/GYN advanced practice provider team is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for PRN coverage. The APP will function in a "go where needed" capacity providing care to women in our outpatient departments across the East region. Key job responsibilities: Annual exams Gynecological problem visits/procedures Care of low-risk Obstetrical patients in collaboration with Primary Physician Interpretation and management of various lab/imaging/testing Collaboration with multiple disciplines Schedule: Variable days, based on departmental needs
