At Cleveland Clinic Health System, we believe in a better future for healthcare. And each of us is responsible for honoring our commitment to excellence, pushing the boundaries and transforming the patient experience, every day. We all have the power to help, heal and change lives — beginning with our own. That’s the power of the Cleveland Clinic Health System team, and The Power of Every One. The primary responsibilities of this role include first assisting in the operating room, managing postoperative patients in the PACU, performing same-day preoperative history and physicals, and rounding on postoperative patients. Both experienced practitioners and new graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates must hold Acute Care or Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification. This position includes call responsibilities of approximately one weekday per week and one weekend every six weeks. The standard schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week. Caregivers may also be required to provide cross-coverage in the operating room at other East Region hospitals or ambulatory surgery centers during periods of PTO or FMLA coverage.
