Cleveland Clinic's Imaging Institute is currently seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Practitioner (Family, Primary) for a full-time position with the Interventional Radiology Actionable Findings team. This newly created Interventional Radiology APP team is resolving outstanding Actionable Findings results for our Cleveland Clinic patients. Excellent communication, clinical decision making, innovative thinking, and autonomous work drive are critical to the success of this position. The current hours are Monday-Friday. Applicants must be aware that the hours of this role may expand as the practice demands change. The chosen candidate should be malleable to the growth and changing designs of this contemporary practice. At least three years of APP experience required. APRN: Nationally certified licensed healthcare provider who provides primary and/or specialty nursing and/or medical care in a variety of healthcare settings. Functions in collaboration with a physician according to a standard care arrangement and specialty certification. Practice emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health problems. PA: Nationally certified licensed healthcare provider who provides primary and or specialty medical care (the practice of medicine) in a variety of healthcare settings. Functions the collaboration agreement of a Physician, (as per O.R.C. 4730) performs complete histories and physicals on patients of all ages to establish and record patient's current health status and to develop a working diagnosis and treatment plan to provide continuing medical care, including daily examinations, writing orders, chart notes, discharging patients and completing discharge summaries. This medical care may be in a variety of clinical settings. PA's are privileged by the Board of Governors. PA's in the Hospital care role provide outpatient and/or hospital based care to patients (more than 50% of their time) with complex, acute, and chronic health conditions. Outpatient/Hospital care PA's practice in a setting that requires the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions to manage acute and chronic health problems. Must have the ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams.
