Cleveland Clinic's Digestive Disease Institute, Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition is currently seeking a candidate for a new position working in Advanced Endoscopy and General GI at the Main Campus. The chosen candidate will be responsible for seeing both new and established patients in clinic with common diagnosis including: acute and chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic masses (benign and malignant), exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, biliary tree abnormalities including obstructions/strictures/stones/cancers, esophageal cancer, Barrett's esophagus, GERD, gastrointestinal bleeding/obscure anemia, abdominal pain, esophageal strictures, esophageal motility disorders, Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis, strictures and obstructions of the GI tract, gastrointestinal tract malignancies and patients with abnormal diagnostic testing of the GI tract. If there is not enough need for Advanced Endoscopy patients to fill the APP's schedule they will supplement with General GI patients. A small portion of the APP's time each week will be dedicated to projects within the section. The hours for the position will typically be Mon-Fri 8-5 without requirement for nights, weekends, holidays or call. There may be times when the provider needs to arrive early or stay late to complete job responsibilities, attend meetings, participate in educational activities, etc… The ideal candidate will be self-directed, highly motivated to build a strong fund of knowledge, organized, flexible and possess the ability to work collaboratively across multiple disciplines.
