Responsible for dissemination of knowledge through instructing, leading and developing educational programs. The Department of Hematology & Oncology is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Family, Adult, or Acute Care Certified) for a full-time outpatient role at the Cleveland Clinic Beachwood Family Health Center, located in the heart of Beachwood, Ohio. Beachwood is a vibrant, highly desirable eastern suburb of Cleveland, known for its excellent schools, walkable amenities, and proximity to premier shopping and dining destinations such as Legacy Village and Beachwood Place. The location offers easy access to major highways and downtown Cleveland while maintaining a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere. In this role, the Advanced Practice Provider will deliver comprehensive care to patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions, including infusion suite coverage. Responsibilities include managing established patients, survivorship visits, and new benign and malignant hematology and medical oncology patients. The position also includes performing bone marrow biopsies and chemotherapy prescribing, with appropriate training provided. Approximate hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. At present, this position does not include weekend, holiday, or on-call responsibilities, though this is subject to change based on patient and program needs. Advanced Oncology Certification is expected within the first two years of hire or upon certification eligibility. APPs who are not yet certified are required to complete 12 oncology-specific continuing education hours annually.
