About The Position

Columbus Cardiology Associates includes a team of six cardiologists and nine advanced practice providers who strive to provide comprehensive, compassionate, high quality cardiovascular care throughout the greater areas of Columbus, GA, and Phenix, AL. Our specialty areas include cardiac consultative evaluations and care for conditions of the heart, arteries, and veins, along with a full spectrum of cardiac and vascular testing. We are excited to expand our services throughout our south Georgia communities, and have a current need for a patient-centered Advanced Practice Provider to work primarily within our local Columbus clinic and affiliated hospitals. Job Details Office Location: Primarily within our Columbus office and affiliated hospitals Monday-Friday Schedule with half days on Friday's. Occasional weekend rounding

Requirements

Accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program – BC required.
Hard working, patient satisfaction/quality must be front and center.
Collegial, teamwork focused, and patient centered.

Responsibilities

Manage office patients assigned to you. Order appropriate tests and procedures as indicated and manage prescriptions as appropriate and refer to cardiologists and specialists as needed for the patient.
Assisting with Hospital consults and rounding in coordination with other Cardiologists and APN’s. Rounding will include performing documentation and histories, proper test ordering, medication management, stress test supervision and completing other orders as needed.
Close collaboration with other APNs and Cardiologists in both clinic and hospital settings
Complete all appropriate care documentation.
Maintain required CMEs, privileges, and licensure.
