About The Position
ADVANCED PRACTICED PROVIDER (APP) - Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant - Neuro Outpatient The Advanced Practice Provider - APP (Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant) assumes responsibility for providing advanced medical care practice within a clinical specialty and the scope of education. In consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens advanced medical care practice and promotes positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities include clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research. The Advanced Practice Provide serves as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
Requirements
- Master's Degree - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- New Jersey license for Advanced Nurse Practitioner & Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant.
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Schedule - Days/Hours: Full time – 40 hours weekly
Nice To Haves
- Preference for candidates with outpatient general neurology experience: seizure/epilepsy, movement disorder, headache management, Cognitive, and neuropathy.
