Requirements
- Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required
- 1 year Required Work Experience
- Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required
- Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required
- BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required
- Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required
- Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations for patients of all ages
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including prescribing medications and developing treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies
- Provide preventive care, including immunizations, health screenings, and patient education
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
- 1:13 call rotation to provide after-hours/weekend care
