What you can expect at your practice: Exciting opportunity for a Family Nurse Practitioner to join an established, busy Family Medicine practice in Etters, PA Full-time position; 5 days/week, 1:13 call rotation to provide after-hours/weekend care A place to call home: You'll feel at home in our sophisticated medical community in the heart of Central Pennsylvania. Requirements

  • Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required
  • 1 year Required Work Experience
  • Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required
  • Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required
  • BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required
  • Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required
  • Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations for patients of all ages
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including prescribing medications and developing treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies
  • Provide preventive care, including immunizations, health screenings, and patient education
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
  • 1:13 call rotation to provide after-hours/weekend care
