About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our group at Franciscan Heath Heart Center Michigan City located in Michigan City, Indiana. Interested candidate will join an extensive cardiology team.
Ideal candidate will have 1+ years of IMCU, CVU and inpatient cardiology experience , with a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Clinic and stress test experience is preferred. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Provider will need to work collaboratively with physician to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

Requirements

• Master's Degree - Required
• Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) - Required - or Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - Required
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required

Nice To Haves

• IMCU, CVU & inpatient cardiology experience is preferred
• Clinic and stress test experience is preferred, not required
