About The Position
Sentara Medical Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Outpatient Behavioral Health Care Center located in Newport News, VA. Position Highlights: Part-Time, 0.7 FTE (28 hours) Collaborative team environment with 2 Advanced Practice Providers and 2 Therapists Standard work schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Diverse patient population, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, and substance use disorders Manage an average daily caseload of 13–14 patients Visit structure includes 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-up appointments Responsibilities include care for new and established patients (primarily adults), medication management, and responding to MyChart messages Benefits Highlights Comprehensive Benefits Package including Health, Dental, Vision, and more Retirement Packages with Matching Contribution Malpractice and Tail Coverage $3,000 Annual CME Allowance $5,000 Annual Quality Performance Incentive $10,000 Student Loan Reimbursement Program Fully integrated EHR (Epic) PSLF eligible, Non-Profit Why Newport News?
